Utica School of Commerce graduates who desire to earn four-year Baccalaureate College degrees may transfer to other colleges and apply credits earned.
SUNY Alfred State College (ASC)
USC The Business College recently entered into an articulation agreement with SUNY Alfred State College (ASC) for successful USC graduates to transfer into Alfred State’s Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Technology Management. It includes the USC campuses in Utica, Oneonta, and Canastota, NY and Alfred State College, located in Alfred, NY. Its purpose is to afford USC students the opportunity to pre-plan their college careers and to facilitate the transfer process for graduates of USC’s Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) programs to the B.B.A. degree program at ASC.
For fall admits, students who graduate from USC from one of the programs listed, and who have met all specified acceptance criteria, are guaranteed the opportunity to earn the BBA in Technology Management with four additional semesters of normal coursework through ASC. The last two years of study may be taken either at the Alfred, NY campus or entirely online for students who choose to remain where they currently live.
Students who earn an A.O.S. or A.A.S. degree from USC will minimally receive 60 transfer credit hours from Alfred State College toward the requirements for the B.B.A. Technology Management degree. Additional USC coursework can increase the total number of transfer credits, depending on program. ASC accepts transfer credit only, not course grades, and USC grades must be “C” or better for the credits to transfer. USC students accepted into ASC under this agreement will be provided an outline of their individual requirements for completion of the B.B.A. in Technology Management as well as advisement and support services normally available to matriculated students.
