Lawson, Kessler, Palumbo & Reese Get New Titles at
USC The Business College
USC The Business College, with locations in Utica, Canastota and Oneonta, recently announced that four esteemed faculty members were given new titles and additional responsibilities to go along with their teaching positions.
Darrin Lawson, a longtime Information Systems Instructor at the college has been named the President of the Faculty Senate at USC. The Vice President’s position has been given to Michele Kessler, a USC The Business College alumnus and current instructor in the Administrative Specialist Division.
In addition to the above-mentioned appointments, two members of the Faculty have been appointed Department Chairpersons in their respective divisions. Tom Palumbo, a Business Administration Instructor has been selected to Chair the Business Administration Department and Linda Reese, an Administrative Specialist Instructor, has been chosen to Chair the Administrative Studies Division.
“We are proud of the dedication these fine individuals have continuously provided to our school, the compassion and concern for our students they demonstrate on a daily basis and the leadership and direction they provide to their colleagues,” said Tom Finch, Vice President of the college. “These selections were a no-brainer as these individuals are exceptional in all they do.

The college provides two-year degrees in Business Administration, Administrative Specialist, Health Services Management, Non-Profit Agency Management, and Information Systems Specialist in addition to Certificates in Legal Office Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Computer Office Applications, Insurance Associate, Accounting, Administrative Assistant, and Computer Technician.
