In this section of the Orientation you will discover how to use the

Discussion Area

Posting / Replying to a Message

Select discussion Board from the main course menu

Choose a discussion board to enter.

You can start a new area in the discussion by clicking add a new tread.

Or..

Click the name of a current discussion to open it and create a reply.

Here you can see the author and their message.

To reply click the Reply button.

Type your message, attach documents, and submit your reply.

After submitting your message you are be able to expand the top thread and view your message.

As the discussion area is a vital part of your course, you should review the Blackboard users guide for details on using and managing the discussion area.
