An introduction to Distance Education at USC

Each of these sections is critical to you understanding and using Distance Education in your studies at USC.

Student working on a distance course

Our main goal is to prepare you to take one or more of the colleges online courses.

We will focus on technical preparations, navigating the USC Web site, course communication methods, and the kinds of expectations that faculty and students alike bring to online courses.

This orientation is very much like a mini online course.  If you hurry through this orientation you may miss some very important points that you will need during your course.  Get started properly and take your time.

Although technically advanced students may find some of the topics very basic, it is important that all students have the same level of understanding before taking a for-credit online course from USC The Business College.
