"Welcome to USC's Distance Education Online Orientation."

My name is James Buyea.  I am the IT Director / Director of Distance Education at USC.

This orientation was developed in order to provide students with the skills necessary to begin using their USC email and the Blackboard Learning environment to complete their course work online. 

• This (Using Blackboard) orientation will take about 30 Minutes to complete.

• It is best for the first time user to complete the orientation in the sequence provided, 5 - 11.

• You may begin the orientation by clicking the button on the left labeled "5. Course menu". 

• If your are a returning student you may review any of the features listed by clicking the section you wish to review.
