Kiss FM's S. Dot delivers words of wisdom to class of 2016

USC commencement speaker and successful 97.9/105.5 Kiss-Fm Promotions Director and on-air personality Sean S. Morelle (aka Your Boy S. Dot) was laid off three times before landing his dream job.
"I'm not here because I'm famous. I'm not here because I'm rich," he said during his address. "Through hard work and dedication to my community is why I'm here today."
Even through the obstacles, you're thriving if you're moving through, Morelle said to the 2016 graduates during commencement.
"Only you can define your success," he said.
He, likewise, encouraged students to use their USC degree and alumni status to engage in the community.
He challenged the new graduates to give back to their community.
Whether volunteering at a food bank, serving on a board or mentoring a student, there is no wrong way to give back, he said.
And there's no better way to use success than to share it, he said.
Congratulations class of 2016.
